TJ brings 25+ years of experience across hotel operations, general management, multi-property leadership, asset performance, development and portfolio growth.
His career spans Southern Africa and Australia, working alongside owners, developers, operators, brands, strata stakeholders and project teams.
That breadth connects the operating floor, the profit and loss, the contract and the ownership outcome, with the trade-offs explained clearly.

Led strategy and development across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, originating and assessing lease, franchise and hotel management opportunities. Connected feasibility models, investment committee papers, heads of agreement and lifecycle capital plans to the owner’s commercial objectives.
Oversaw seven properties nationally: three in Perth, three in Melbourne and one in Sydney, including Accor brands Mantra, Peppers and The Sebel. The role brought together portfolio performance, owner relations, strata representation and operating-team accountability.
General Manager of Holiday Inn Darling Harbour, then the largest Holiday Inn in Australia. Held full P&L responsibility through pandemic disruption, closure and reopening, rebuilt the operating team and strengthened revenue and cost governance.
Asset management across hotel-related assets, a separate parking-asset P&L and shared-building interests. Specific responsibilities included owner relations, representation on the commercial strata committee and chairing the strata plan.
